Learning Challenges: Happiness
Learning Challenges: Reading- love it or hate it?
I personally love to read even though I am a very slow reader. I still think it is very relaxing and enjoyable. It can be a little overwhelming when it is assigned reading because there is a time limit. I also do not have a large amount of time to read because of school. I feel that after college I will have more time to sit down and read a book of my choosing.

Learning Challenges: Find Courage
I think my growth mindset post and learning challenge post compliment each other this week. My growth mindset post was about confronting your fears and I think you need courage to do that. Courage is something I am always working on because it is a good thing to have. It pushes you forward even when you are hesitant.

Week 6 Learning Challenge: Reading
This week in one of my other class I had to write a paper on Biblio- Therapy and the impact if can have on everyone. Reading is a good way to find relaxation and also expand vocabulary. I wrote my paper on children's books with Dr. Seuss as my main focus. One thing I found was that Dr. Seuss's books were applicable in a different way throughout all ages of a persons life.

Learning Challenges: Happiness/Health
One thing I have learned from my mother is that movement is key to being healthy. It doesn't have to be a crazy amount of physical work but even going for a walk once a day will help in the long term. If it is nice outside I like to walk around a park or if I need to study I got to the gym and read while I walk.

Learning Challenges: Happiness Jar
I think this idea relates to both happiness and empathy in the H.E.A.R.T acronym. It is a pretty cool idea that I think I might try this semester. I also think you could modify this challenge by getting a couple people to add to the jar to understand the little things that make people happy.

Learning Challenges: Time Meme
I am very good about my time management skills for things that are school or work related. I always have a plan for when I need to have things done for me to be successful but unfortunately time management in my personal life is something I'm working on.

Learning Challenges: Laughing
I heard a quote once that a day without laughter is a day wasted and I agree. I think laughter is a big part of happiness. I am the kind of person who thinks laughter is contagious so the picture below definitely makes me laugh.

Learning Challenges
H.E.A.R.T
The H.E.A.R.T concept is also newly introduced topic to me from this class. Although the concept of learning by H.E.A.R.T is not actually about the human heart, the picture below is what I imagined when viewing the title of this topic.

H.E.A.R.T. stands for Health/ Happiness, Empathy, Attention, Reading, and Time Management. All of these topics are important in our lives. The first video given gave me a wide prospective of how much time I have in my life to spend doing things other then the necessities. The way the video is set up make the viewer feel as if they have wasted their time in life. One of the hardest things for anyone to do is manage the time they have in their lives. The second video gave insight to all the things we have given up because of procrastination and all the great ideas that could have been used if only we had not given up on them. This way of looking at things could change the way manage our time and our lives.
